Woman injured when large branch hits car in Del.

MILL CREEK, Del. (WPVI) -- A woman in Mill Creek, Delaware was injured when a fallen branch struck her car while she was still inside.

It happened around 6:40 Thursday night along the 2800 block of Mill Creek Road.

Medics were called to the scene and the woman was taken to Christiana Hospital.

Officials say her injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

The fallen branch caused significant damage to the vehicle as well.
