Suspect ID'd in Logan Square sex assault

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Police have identified the man arrested for the sex assault of a woman in Center City.

Nico Natividad, 23, was arrested after the incident on Tuesday.

Philadelphia Police say the woman was sleeping in the park in the 1900 block of Logan Square just before noon.

She told police she awoke to find a man crouched over her with his hands in her underwear.

The two struggled, investigators say, and the victim was able to run away and contact police.

Natividad was arrested and the victim was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released.

Natividad, who police say is homeless, was charged with attempted rape, indecent assault and other offenses.
