Ocean City power outage strands roller coaster riders mid-ride

OCEAN CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A brief power outage Monday night at the Jersey shore caused several rides and roller coasters to get stuck mid-ride.

Action News viewers sent video of some of the stuck rides at Playland's Castaway Cove in Ocean City.

Workers can be seen working to safely get riders off one of the coasters.

The power has since been restored.

There were no reported injuries.
