Bao Bao, the baby panda at The Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, DC, played in the snow for the first time on January 6. In this video, the 16-month-old panda cub can be seen tumbling through the snow and hopping on her mother, Mei Xiang, as she tries to relax.

Giant pandas are native to the mountains in China, which can be cold and snowy in the winter.
