Dog owner creates prosthetic paw for his Golden retriever from tennis shoe
Sunny the dog received a custom-designed paw made from his owner's tennis shoe after his old prosthetic kept breaking.

After having his paw amputated because of a tumor, Sunny the dog had to wear a prosthetic that kept breaking. That's when his owner stepped in and decided to create a custom-designed prosthetic using one of his old tennis shoes.

Built from an old Nike Zoom Vapor 9 sneaker and some duct tape, the new prosthetic works much better for Sunny. The dog's owner, Don Chernoff, posted a video on YouTube of Sunny walking and playing in the snow with his new paw, moving around just like any other canine.

"Now Sunny is a Nike dog!" Don wrote on YouTube. "Roger Federer would be proud."
