Police: Man shot in face, killed in Lawncrest

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a homicide in the city's Lawncrest section.

It happened around 7:45 p.m., at Rising Sun Avenue and Rosalie Street.

Police said a man was shot once in the face.

Police transported the man to Einstein Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
