Counterfeit items seized at Dover Mall

DOVER, Del. (WPVI) -- Investigators say two stores in the Dover Mall have been selling fake sports merchandise.

Hundreds of counterfeit jerseys, shirts and hats were confiscated from "Sports Fever" and "Christmas Treasures."

The stores' owner, Salvadore Argo, of Mountaintop, Pennsylvania now faces criminal charges.

Police say customers who are concerned about the authenticity of the items they purchased from Argo's stores should contact the businesses directly.
