Designer brand bargains at Century 21

There's a bargain BOOM happening right this very minute in Center City.

Many Philadelphians used to travel all the way up to Manhattan to grab the deals at Century 21.

But Century 21 has set up shop here at 8th and Market.

Once the home of Strawbridge's, the space boasts 96,000 square feet of bargain hunting heaven.

"All of our stuff is designer merchandise - American and European designers and it's all up to 65% off retail."

Century 21's Heather Feinmel gave us a tour of the two story savings mecca.

Mens, womens, housewares, fashionable finds for the little ones, fragrances, handbags, shoes - the deals are real and the brands are top of the line.

We just can't divulge the designers.

Feinmel says, "You can find gems that you might not find at other places."

It's sort of like a high end department store with deep, deep discounts.

Eddie Gindi, co-owner of Century 21, tells us, "We consider ourselves the boutique of off price retailers. What does that mean? That means when you come to our store and you shop you feel like you're in a boutique being catered to. You're getting the authentic merchandise."

They even offer FREE personal shoppers.

The Philadelphia location is Century 21's first store outside the New York metro area in 53 years, and the deals change daily.

Feinmel explains, "We get new shipments in every day, so it's a new discovery every time you come into the store."

Century 21 officially opens to the public on Tuesday, but Friday our area's latest Nordstrom Rack opens at 17th and Chestnut.
