VIDEO: Open carry tshirt
The so-called Open Carry shirt is selling by the thousands.

A t-shirt described as so realistic it comes with a disturbing disclaimer is causing a big controversy in Colorado.

The so-called Open Carry shirt is selling by the thousands and anyone who chooses to wear it is told not to make any sudden moves around police, as it could get them injured, or even killed.

The shirt features the very realistic image of a gun and a holster.

The makers of the shirt say they hope it will change the public perception of guns, but those who sell it are giving a clear warning to customers.

"If someone says freeze, halt, stop...do what the officer says. When he sees you turn and sees the shirt, he's going to realize 'Oh, it's a shirt,'" said one seller.

The shirt comes as Colorado's state Senate approves a bill allowing adults without a permit to carry a concealed gun.
