30 officers added to the ranks

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The newest members of the Philadelphia police force, have sworn to protect and serve.

The 30 recruits officially graduated Friday after 8 months of training at the Police Academy.

The ceremony for Class 374 was held on the campus of Temple University, the first under Commission Richard Ross' leadership.

The new officers will be out on patrol starting Monday.
