YARDLEY, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Bucks County teenager is making the Delaware Valley and the United States very proud.

18-year-old Neha Gupta is the first American to win the prestigious International Children's Peace Prize.

Nobel Peace Laureate Desmond Tutu bestowed the honor upon the Penn State Student in the Netherlands on Tuesday.

When the Yardley teenager was just 9 years old, she started a charity to benefit orphans in India.
