Mayor Kenney gets tips from "Gamers"

SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- A big video gaming event is coming to Philadelphia.

Thursday, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney and Superintendent of Schools, Doctor William Hite got a few pointers from some young "pros".

In September, these kids and hundreds of others will gather at the University of the Sciences for the world's largest "Minecraft" gaming event for kids.

It will raise funds for technology improvements to Philadelphia schools.
