New school year, new water stations
40 Philadelphia schools will have new water fountains in time for the school year

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Students at more than 40 Philadelphia schools will have new water fountains in time for the start of the school year.

The school district is spending a million dollars to install special hydration stations, ensuring the schools have safe drinking water.

This announcement comes as the district re-tests for lead contamination.

Every school will have three of the new water fountains by the end of the school year.
