Oaks Science Fair

OAKS, Pa. (WPVI) -- Future scientists are showing off their inventions for prize money Wednesday night in Montgomery County.

1,000 competitors from the tri-state came to the Philadelphia Expo Center to compete for $2 million in scholarships and prizes.

There are 15 categories for students grades 6 through 12, including engineering, technology and mathematics.

This is the 29th year for the competition.
