Phillies helping needy families in the Delaware Valley

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Phillies are teaming up with Philabundance and Citizens Bank to help needy families in the Delaware Valley.

First base coach Mickey Morandini and the Phillie Phanatic joined executives Tuesday at Philabundance in South Philadelphia.

They kicked off the Phans Feeding Families initiative.

Citizens Bank made the first donation and presented a 40 thousand dollar check.
