WILMINGTON, Del. -- A Wilmington man has been charged after police say they found a dead white-tailed deer on his front porch.
The News Journal reports the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control says 24-year-old Jeremy Nacchio was arrested and charged with illegal deer hunting Sunday, among other related charges.
On Monday, Sgt. John McDebry with the Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Natural Resources Police said police received a tip on Saturday about a dead deer on the porch of a home in New Castle County.
This prompted them to visit the home.
Following an investigation, Nacchio was charged. Officials say he pleaded guilty to several of the charges on Sunday.
Authorities say Nacchio was ordered to pay fines and also had his hunting privileges revoked for three years.
