NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- There's new help for hungry families in Northeast Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Eagles free safety Malcolm Jenkins and Pepsico partnered to kick off a food drive Friday.

"Get Ready Fest: Feeding Philadelphia" was held at Spruance Elementary on Horrocks Street.

Volunteers handed out 25-pound boxes of food and essentials - enough to feed a family of four for a week.
