VIDEO: Women scream at close encounter with great white

It probably safe to guess that these women have seen the movie "Jaws."

When a boat off the coast of Chatham, Massachusetts, Thursday had a close encounter with a great white shark, people on the boat screamed in terror. Scientist John Chisholm recorded the brush with the giant shark.

The Boston Globe reports that the shark was about 15 feet long, and that sightings are common in the area. For these ocean-goers, though, the encounter was likely not one they'll soon forget.

The Atlantic White Shark conservancy also posted some up-close-and-personal footage of the shark on Facebook.
