76ers' Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons to play in Rising Stars game

Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons have established themselves as the core of a young and talented Philadelphia 76ers squad with a seemingly bright future.

Embiid, already rewarded with a starting nod to the All-Star Game, will join Simmons in the All-Star Weekend's Rising Stars game.

Embiid, of Cameroon, and Simmons, of Australia, will play in the game for the World team, the NBA announced Wednesday.

Lakers rookies Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzmahighlight the U.S. team that will face them.
