A roster change for USWNT: Goodbye Julie Johnston, hello Julie Ertz

Newlywed Julie Johnston, star defender for the Chicago Red Stars and the U.S. women's soccer team, is officially Julie Ertz.

After marrying Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz in March, Johnston debuted her new last name a few weeks later in a heartwarming Instagram where "Ertz" stood in place of her maiden name on her Chicago Red Stars jersey.

On Wednesday, the U.S. national team made it doubly official when it revealed Ertz's new jersey just in time for the opening of its European tour.

Julie Ertz and her new jersey are ready to take on Sweden this afternoon (1:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2/WatchESPN).
