Delco field hockey team sings national anthem after sound system breaks

PROSPECT PARK, Pa. -- A high school field hockey team in Delaware County shared a special patriotic moment during a recent game after the sound system malfunctioned.

The Lady Bucs field hockey team from Interboro High School in Prospect Park took the field for a recent game.

But when they went to sing the national anthem, the sound system went out.

So the ladies improvised.

The Lady Bucs took the reigns, singing the anthem themselves and had the everyone on their feet.

They played for the Del Val championship Tuesday night against Chichester and won 1-0 in a nail biter, in overtime.
