Doylestown 9U baseball team celebrates 1st regional championship

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Congratulations are in order for the Doylestown 9U baseball team.

This year's team has become the very first Doylestown Athletic Association baseball team to capture a Cal Ripken Regional Championship.

Other age groups have won district and state championships over the years, but the 9-year-olds are the first D.A.A. team ever to win the regionals.

The Tigers end their magical season with a 36-6 record, and the title!
