Ducis Rodgers with the Phillies for Spring Training

CLEARWATER, Fla. (WPVI) -- Action News sports director Ducis Rodgers is in Clearwater, Florida as the Phillies begin Spring Training.

Pitchers and catchers reported Monday for the official start of training.

And while last season didn't go as planned, there is renewed hope for 2017.

Ducis caught up with those who are excited for it to get underway.
