PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Birds head to Texas on Sunday and it turns out that seven current Eagles players once played for the Houston Texans.

Their loss to the Cardinals is now a distant memory. On Wednesday, the Eagles say they're hoping to Texas two-step their way back into the win column.

"It's a bounce back game. We got to get this one. It's another road game and it's a tough atmosphere again," said Cary Williams.

The Eagles will feel right at home in Houston. Seven current players have played for the Texans in the past. That's more than 13 percent of the entire roster.

"We have a lot of key, important players on our team in Philly that came to Houston and they are really contributing and helping us win games," said DeMarco Ryans.

Ryans played his first six years and went to two Pro Bowls as a Texan.

Connor Barwin was his teammate there. He spent his first four seasons in Houston

"A lot of my former teammates are still there. It's good to see those guys and I had a lot of fun playing in that stadium. It'll be a little different playing for a different team but I'm excited to go back," said Barwin.

And then there's receiver Josh Huff, who didn't play for Houston but was born and raised there.

He'll have 30-40 friends and family members in the stands and he wears his heart for Houston on his leg with a Texans tattoo.

"I got the tattoo just because the Texans were my favorite team and I grew up here and pretty much any Houston team I love," said Huff.
