Joel Embiid dances shirtless on stage at Meek Mill concert
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Joel Embiid can dance.
We found that out Friday night at the Meek Mill concert.
The 76ers star made an appearance on stage, and the 7-footer showed off his dance moves.
But we found out before their game against the Heat Saturday night, the big man has a partially torn meniscus in his left knee.
He hasn't played in nine straight games, so the question is: Should he be on stage dancing at a rap concert?

"He's young and wants to have fun and we understand that, but in the long run we want him healthy on the floor, not just healthy dancing at a Meek Mill concert," said Mike Butz of Westville, New Jersey.
He's not the only fan who feels that way.
"I don't think he should have did it. But I guess he can do whatever he wants to do," said Darren Thompson of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
"Nine straight games and he on stage acting like that?" said Chase Saunders of North Philadelphia.
Some can see both sides to the now famous cameo on stage.
"He probably shouldn't be dancing, but it's his personality. He's like the life of this team. He's a party kind of guy, that's what he's gonna do," said Tyler Elliott of Lansdale, Pennsylvania.
Though some say they don't have a problem with it - injury or not - they're more interested in the 76ers future.
"You gotta trust the process. That team is going to be great in two years. If they sandbag and they end up getting the 2nd or 3rd pick, then it's worth it. I don't care what he does at any concert because that's going to be the team to beat in a couple years," said Dave Voigt of Reading.
Before the news broke of the partially torn meniscus, we spoke with Embiid Saturday afternoon at a shootaround.
We even watched him do a similar dance like the one he did at the concert.
Despite the partial tear, he is getting some practice in.
Though he acknowledged he wasn't healthy and gave no timetable for when he might play again.
"Today's the first I felt pretty well, and we gone see how next week goes. If I can play a game, I'm going to play. If I can't, I'm not going to do anything," said Embiid.
According to the team, Embiid's partially torn meniscus will not require surgery.
As for a timetable on when he might return, they didn't give us one, and they did not answer the question if they think he would return at some point this season.
