Mo'Ne Davis' birthday bash contest

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia's own Mo'Ne Davis is planning a birthday celebration and there's a way that you can join the fun.

The teenager posted a message to social media inviting her fans to take part in a special contest.

In the post Mo'Ne wrote: "Please submit a 300 word essay explaining how my Journey has inspired you in creating your own journey. The top 6 entries will live it up in VIP with me!!"

Entries must be in by August 15. Winners will be announced August 20.

You have to be between 12 and 16 years old.

The big party is August 30th.
