Phillies sign pitchers Andrew Bailey, Edward Mujica

PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies have signed free agent right-handers Andrew Bailey and Edward Mujica, both former All-Star closers, to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training.

Bailey, the 2009 AL Rookie of the Year with Oakland, was 0-1 with a 5.19 ERA in 10 games for the New York Yankees in 2015. He's 11-13 with 89 saves and a 2.74 ERA in 216 appearances in a career beset by injuries.

Mujica was 3-5 with one save and a 4.75 ERA in 49 games last season for the Red Sox and A's. He's 24-28 with 50 saves and a 3.85 ERA in 494 career games.
