Philly councilman: Christie, "you are just a creep"

After seeing New Jersey Governor Chris Christie sitting with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones at Sunday night's Eagles' game, Philadelphia City Councilman Jim Kenney shared his thoughts on social media.

He took his anger to Twitter writing:

"Hey fat [expletive] Christie. kiss Jerry Jones' [expletive] in his box in Dallas. Not across the river from Philly! You are just a creep!"

Kenney says he also was ticked off after Christie high-fived Jones after a Philadelphia Eagles' turnover.

The councilman says he's not sorry for the tweet.

"First of all, I have very big nose and he has a very fat [expletive.] You're dealt with what you're dealt with in life. People have called me big nose, too. I got it. But I was annoyed. I was angry. I'm not apologizing for it ever," Kenney said.

Kenney was one of many Eagles fans who voiced their outrage on Twitter.

Christie responded to the meltdown Monday morning with an unscheduled appearance on WPG Talk Radio 1450.

He told listeners he's never made a secret of his Cowboys fandom and said he would never change his team loyalties to score political points.

"I love passionate sports fans. I really do. I'm a passionate sports fan. And so I can't say that I was the least bit surprised by the reaction of some Eagles fans," he said.

"I don't react in that way, but I'm an enthusiastic Dallas Cowboys fan. I've never made a secret of it from the time I entered public life."

He also took to Twitter to respond to some of the kinder commenters.
