VIDEO: Rasheed Bailey looks to NFL
There are hundreds of stories of athletes from small schools trying to live a dream.

He's one of the best collegiate receivers in the country that you've probably never heard of.

Philadelphia native Rasheed Bailey had the most touchdowns and receiving yards in all Division III football last season for Delaware Valley College in Doylestown.

And now Bailey is trying to secure a job in the NFL. He's projected as a late round pick.

"People may say he goes to a small school, he didn't face anybody, but I'm confident. I adapt to competition. I have the heart and the desire," Bailey said.

The Eagles answer at receiver could be right in their own backyard.

Not only did they scout Bailey during his senior at DelVal when he scored 19 touchdowns, but Chip Kelly invited the Roxborough High School grad in for a workout just last week.

"To work out with a team that you grew up watching, walking in that hallway, you're like 'I'm here.' But you still got to do more. I feel I still have a lot left to prove," Bailey said.

Over the last three years there have been 763 draft picks, yet only one has come from a Division III school.

Bailey's motto - so what? He's doing everything he can to catch the eye of an NFL team.

"I just want the opportunity to showcase my talent and compete with the big guys," Bailey said.

Bailey, who was featured in Sports Illustrated last fall, faces an uphill battle.

But whether he's drafted next week or signs as a free agent, he just wants his shot.
