Rams' return to Los Angeles set for Aug. 13 on ESPN

The NFL announced its 65-game preseason schedule Thursday, featuring eight nationally televised games, including the Rams' first home game in Los Angeles since their announced relocation.

The first weekend of preseason games, from Aug. 11-15, includes the Rams hosting Dallas on Saturday, Aug. 13 (ESPN, 8 p.m. ET).

"We are excited to open the preseason on a national stage here in Los Angeles," Rams coach Jeff Fisher said in a statement. "This is a historic year and we can't wait to get in front of the fans for the first time at the Coliseum."

Other nationally televised games include:

  • Green Bay vs. Indianapolis on Sunday, Aug. 7 in the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio (ESPN, 8 p.m. ET)
  • Atlanta at Miami on Aug. 25 (NBC, 8 ET)
  • Cleveland at Tampa Bay on Aug. 26 (CBS, 8 ET)
  • Tennessee at Oakland on Aug. 27 (CBS, 8 ET)
  • and a tripleheader on Aug. 28 of San Diego at Minnesota (Fox, 1 p.m. ET), Arizona at Houston (Fox, 4 ET), and Cincinnati at Jacksonville (NBC, 8 ET).

The Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos will open the preseason at the Chicago Bears.A date for Broncos-Bears has not yet been set.
