While most of the focus is on the players who will be selected on the NFL Draft stage in the first round on Thursday, this is a very deep draft with a ton of value in the later rounds.

One player dreaming of hearing his name Saturday in rounds five through seven is Temple University quarterback Phillip Walker.

"As it gets closer and closer, it's just anxiety," Walker said.

Walker is anxious for the NFL Draft, crossing his fingers he doesn't get passed up on.

Originally projected as a rookie free-agent, Walker's stock is on the rise after meeting with seven NFL teams including the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers.

He's now projected to go in the later rounds.

"I see what's out there with the guys in front of me, but I know how good I am. I know what I can do at the next level," Walker said.

Walker says his experience sets him apart from others. He played in 49 games and broke nearly all of Temple's passing records including completions, yards, and touchdowns.

"You have to take the time to watch the tape. I believe when you watch the tapes some good things are going to flash. It's a consistent amount of good things, it's four years of good things. The experience is what a lot of teams like. The opportunity is going to be there, I'm going to have to make the best of it," Walker said.

Walker could become the first Temple quarterback drafted in more than 30 years.

"It would be a dream come true," Walker said.
