Kimmo Timonen told Jamie Apody prior to Wednesday night?s game that it would be emotional.

PHILADLEPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Flyers are back home and so is Kimmo Timonen only he plays for another team these days.

The Flyers host his new team of the Chicago Blackhawks Wednesday night.

Timonen knows the Wells Fargo Center well, but wearing a Chicago sweater, still has to feel odd.

He was traded last month, with his blessing, and will now have a chance to compete in the playoffs.

Kimmo spent half of his career in Philadelphia.

As he told Action News sports reporter Jamie Apody, tonight will be emotional.

"I'm sure it's going to be good. All the thing happened here. I'm happy to be happy here," Timonen said fighting back tears.
