NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- An accident shut down two northbound lanes on Interstate-95 near the service plaza in Newark, Delaware Saturday morning.
The crash happen just before 7:00 a.m. and involved a mini-van.
Police tell Action News that the driver of a mini-van lost control and ran off the highway.
The vehicle then flipped several times into a wooded area.
Four people inside the mini-van were rushed to Christiana Hospital to be treated for injuries.
Several motorists stopped to help them get out of the vehicle.
Officials say two men, 71 and 42 years-of-age suffered minor cuts and bruises. Both are in stable condition.
A 13-year-old boy suffered a minor leg injury. The fourth victim, a 10-year-old boy suffered possible abdominal injuries.
They are also in stable condition.
The wreckage was cleared and the lanes have since reopened.
Delaware State police are investigating the crash.
