All lanes reopened after car fire on NB I-95

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A car fire shut down all northbound lanes of I-95 approaching I-676 exit in South Philadelphia for a period of time Wednesday afternoon.

The car fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Cameras showed the car burning on the shoulder of the highway.

The fire was extinguished around 1:35 p.m.

There is no word on injuries.

All lanes were reopened around 2:20 p.m.
