Dirt bike rider hospitalized after Wilmington crash

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A crash involving a dirt bike sent one person to the hospital in Wilmington, Delaware on Monday.

The accident happened at 12:46 p.m. at the intersection of Vandever Avenue and Pine Street.

Police say someone was riding a dirt bike erratically through traffic before they were hit by a sedan.

The rider was transported to Christiana Hospital in critical condition, but is expected to survive.
