Driver rescued from vehicle in Delaware crash

NEW CASTLE CO., Del. (WPVI) -- A woman was pulled from her vehicle after crashing on the ramp from Route 13 to I-495 north.

It happened around 8:17 a.m. Tuesday in New Castle County, Delaware.

Police say the vehicle flipped over, and crews had to rescue the driver.

She was taken to Christiana Hospital for evaluation of possible injuries.

The ramp to I-495 was closed while the accident was cleared.
