Fire truck and vehicle collide in Delaware

CHRISTIANA, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating an accident involving a fire truck and another vehicle in Christiana, Delaware.

The collision occurred around 7 a.m. Thursday at Route 40 and Brookmont Drive.

One person in the vehicle suffered a minor injury, and was taken to Christiana Hospital. A second person in the vehicle refused treatment at the scene.

No word on why the vehicles collided.

Route 40 westbound at Brookmont Drive is closed.
