TALLEYVILLE, Del. (WPVI) -- A man remains in critical condition after being struck by a passenger car Sunday morning in Talleyville, Delaware.

It happened at 11:08 a.m. on the northbound side of Foulk Road.

State police say 42-year-old Andrea Seiple of Wilmington pulled her Buick Century sedan into the right shoulder of the road to pass a vehicle that was making a left turn onto Armstrong Lane when she hit a man standing there.

The victim was rushed to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

Authorities are still working to identify him.

Seiple stopped after the incident and was cooperating with police. No charges have been filed.

Police say Foulk Road was shut down for about an hour Sunday in both directions as police investigated.
