Multi-vehicle crash on WB Pennsylvania Turnpike

LOWER MORELAND, Pa. (WPVI) -- A multi-vehicle crash is slowing traffic on the westbound Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lower Moreland.

It happened at 9:40 a.m. Thursday approaching the Route 611 exit.

Police tell Action News up to 6 vehicles were involved.

Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed several vehicles pulled over in the left shoulder. A flatbed tow truck was on the scene.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

Traffic was backed up as motorists moved slowly by the scene.
