Philly officer injured in Hunting Park crash

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia police officer was injured in a crash on Friday evening in Hunting Park.

The crash happened around 5 p.m. at 6th Street and Hunting Park Avenue.

A car turning out of a side street struck the cruiser, police say.

Another vehicle was also involved in the crash.

The officer was taken to Temple University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other drivers refused treatment.
