A transformer fire has led to a power outage, a road closure and school bus detours in Browns Mills, Burlington County.

BROWNS MILLS, N.J. (WPVI) -- A transformer fire has led to a power outage, a road closure and school bus detours in Browns Mills, Burlington County.

The fire broke out at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in an electrical transformer in the 100 block of Pemberton Browns Mill Road.

Officials tell Action News the fire spread from the transformer to some electrical wires, which came down on the road.

No injuries were reported.

Power has been knocked out in the area. There was no immediate word how many customers have been affected.

Traffic is being detoured away from the scene.

Action News is told several school buses from the Pemberton Township School District are being re-routed.

Parents are being notified of alternate pickup locations for their children.
