AccuWeather: A Cool, Damp 4th of July

Chris Sowers has the latest from AccuWeather.
TODAY: It'll be a cloudy, damp 4th of July with cool temperatures (a high of 75 in Center City, 65 in the Poconos and 74 at the Shore.) Showers are likely with even a period of steady rain for 2 or 3 hours not out of the question depending on how these two systems interact. In general this is not a washout like we saw last Saturday.

TONIGHT: By evening, most of this activity is likely to die down, so most fireworks displays should be rain-free.

SUNDAY: The holiday weekend ends on a nice, seasonably warm, somewhat humid note. Look for partly sunny skies and a warmer high of 85.

MONDAY: We have mostly sunny skies. It's very warm and humid with a thunderstorm not out of the question. The high is around 86.

TUESDAY: It'll be muggy with clouds and sunshine and a few late day showers and thunderstorms. The high is 89.

WEDNESDAY: Clouds mix with sun. It's hot and humid with showers and thunderstorms possible ahead of an approaching front. The high is 90.

THURSDAY: It's partly sunny and slightly cooler. The high is 86.

FRIDAY: It stays warm. Skies are partly sunny. The high is 86.
