TONIGHT: During the evening, a weak clipper gives us a couple of hours of light snow. It will last a little longer in the northern suburbs like Berks County and the Lehigh Valley. In southern counties, we'll probably see mainly rain showers. A coating to 1" is expected in the I-95 vicinity. The northern areas will get about 1-2". Southern areas get a trace of sleet, but mainly rain showers and no accumulation. The overnight low is 32.

FRIDAY: We have mostly cloudy skies with some flurries in the morning and perhaps a scattered snow shower. Some sun may return during the afternoon, but at the same time, temperatures will be begin to tumble. Winds will crank up and by the late afternoon/early evening be gusting 40-45mph. Temps likely drop a good 20 degrees between 1pm and 1am. Wind chills on Friday night will drop below zero in almost the entire area. The high is 38 early in the afternoon, with temperatures in the 20s in the evening and the teens later at night. Wind chills drop below zero.

SATURDAY: It's sunny, but brisk and much colder. The morning low: 11. The afternoon high: 28.

SUNDAY: The sunrise temperature is around 16. We start out with sun and then turn to clouds. By evening, snow moves in. The high: 33.

MONDAY: How much snow we get Monday depends upon the track of a storm coming across the Tennessee Valley. Will it be overwhelmed by the cold air to the north and just scrape our area with light snow as it mainly passes south? Or, will it puncture into the cold air just enough to give a fairly significant winter storm. Too early to call the exact track, but we'll keep you posted as we move closer to the weekend. Timing of this storm would be from 5-7pm on Sunday evening until around noon on Monday. The high: 28.

TUESDAY: Its sharply colder with plenty of sunshine, but a strong wind and cold air counteracting the sun's potential warming effect. The high is only 26.

WEDNESDAY: Sun mixes with additional clouds. We could see a few flurries or a snow shower. The high: 34

THURSDAY: It's partly to mostly cloudy. The high is 33.
