PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) --Yet another cloudy, dreary day. The drizzle from earlier exited, but low clouds hung tough most of the day as low pressure sits and spins just off the Jersey Shore. Temperatures jumped back into the 60's, after stuck in the 50's all day Tuesday.
TONIGHT: We'll continue to see mostly cloudy skies. With temperatures falling to near the dewpoints, light winds and a relatively wet ground, areas of fog are expected to form late. The low is a mild 57.
THURSDAY: We begin with some lingering low clouds and fog, but we should quickly burn that off and see sunshine returning. Temps will reach 81 in the afternoon and it should be a beautiful day for anyone out and about at the NFL Experience along the Parkway or a the Penn Relays.
FRIDAY: A weak cold front will slip through in the predawn to near dawn hours giving us a few spotty showers, but sun quickly returns with a high of 83.
SATURDAY: South/southwest winds are really kicking in and we'll notice an uptick in humidity with dewpoints into the lower 60's. Skies will be a mix of sun and high clouds and our high climbs naer 85. Late in the day, as a backdoor cold front approaches, we could see a spotty thunderstorm.
SUNDAY: A back-door front moves in, dropping temperatures and bringing in more clouds. The high drops to 72.
MONDAY: It's warmer with an afternoon thunderstorms possible and a high of 82.
TUESDAY: Look for a nice, mostly sunny afternoon with a pleasant high around 73.
WEDNESDAY: It's partly sunny with another nice high around 72.
