AccuWeather: Tracking showers and an April chill in the Philadelphia region

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Showers and clouds will break for some evening sun today as we prepare for a widespread freeze tomorrow night.

SUNDAY: As a cold front arrives we'll reach our high temperature of 58 degrees before temperatures drop. Winds will kick up with gusts up to 35mph possible. Rain ends west to east with all areas drying out later into the afternoon and early evening. We'll see some breaks of sun before the sun goes down.

MONDAY: Breezy and much cooler! Some sun with increasing afternoon clouds, high 54. Freeze watches have been posted for most of the area heading into Tuesday morning.

TUESDAY: A cold start with a widespread frost or freeze. It's mostly sunny, and temps rebound to a high of 58.

WEDNESDAY (EARTH DAY): Partly sunny with a spotty shower possible, high 69.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and milder, high 77.

FRIDAY: Partly sunny, nice and mild, high 76.

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy, with a shower chance, high 70.
