AccuWeather: Brighter end to the weekend for the Philadelphia region

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Temperatures remain seasonable over the next two days before our next heat wave arrives.

SUNDAY: Mix of sun and clouds, slightly lower humidity. High 87, near 80 degrees down the shore with a moderate rip current risk.

TONIGHT: Starry skies, low in the mid-60s.

MONDAY: Another nice day with plenty of sun, high 87. It'll be dry and comfortable for the Home Run Derby.

TUESDAY: The heat starts to build. It's sunny and warm, high 93. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s for the All-Star Game.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny and hot! It's the peak of the heat, high 98. Heat index values will be between 100-105.

THURSDAY: Another hot day as heat wave #5 rolls on, high 94.

FRIDAY: The high heat starts to buckle. Clouds mix with sunshine, high 92.

SATURDAY: Some sun. Watching for the chance of a late day thunderstorm, high 89.
