What a beautiful day! A bubble of high pressure brought wall to wall sunshine, low humidity and a comfortably warm high of 78. That's three degrees above average.

TONIGHT: Clouds increase overnight. The low is 58.

TUESDAY: As a frontal system from the west approaches, we'll be dealing with clouds and the threat of scattered showers for the first part of the day. But, the best concentration of activity looks to our northwest across upstate Pennsylvania and New York. We then enter the warm sector for the afternoon with temperatures and dewpoints rising. With precipitable water values reaching 1.6", any shower could become a downpour. Scattered showers move in during the afternoon and could last well into the night before a cold front arrives near dawn on Wednesday. Severe weather indices are low for our area as we remain fairly stable, however you could still hear a rumble of thunder or two. The high drops to 74.

WEDNESDAY: Any rain is gone, and we see the return of partly sunny skies with a warmer high around 80. It should be fairly comfortable.

THURSDAY: This is a delightful, mostly sunny day with a pleasant high around 82, as a dome of high pressure moves into our region.

FRIDAY: That high pressure center is still our dominant weather feature. Look for another mostly sunny afternoon with another warm, comfortable high of 86.

SATURDAY: Sun gives way to increasing clouds during the afternoon, as high pressure breaks down and another front approaches the region. Late in the day and at night, a shower or thunderstorm is possible. The high: 80.

SUNDAY: Clouds mix with sunny breaks. It's more humid and unsettled. Some showers and a thunderstorm are likely at times. The high is 81.

MONDAY (MEMORIAL DAY): Look for mostly cloudy skies with another shower or thunderstorm possible. The high slips to 76.
