PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- After one of our warmest Aprils on record, we'll start May with below-average temperatures.

FRIDAY: Morning sun followed by a few afternoon clouds. Watch for showers later in the evening or at night, high 66.

SATURDAY: A cool start to the weekend with mostly cloudy skies, high 61. A coastal low will be passing by to our south. This could brush areas southeast of I-95 with showers or a period of light rain later in the day.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny and turning breezy, high 62. It's cool, but dry for the IBX Broad Street Run.

MONDAY: Sunshine and a few clouds, high 72.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny, breezy and warm, high 79.

WEDNESDAY: It looks mostly cloudy with scattered showers, high 72.

THURSDAY: Cloudy with lingering showers, high 68.
