Meteorologist Karen Rogers says it turns oppressively humid tomorrow and the start of your weekend.
TONIGHT-SATURDAY: T.S. Cindy made landfall around 3am CDT on the border of Texas and Louisiana. Currently the center is still down in central Louisiana, but lots of tropical moisture has streamed well out ahead of it into the Ohio/Tennessee Valley. Clouds will be on the increase overnight, with a few scattered T'storms popping near the Lehigh Valley. Lows very muggy and in the 70s.

By dawn we will see some of the initial tropical moisture along with oppressive humidity. T'storms and downpours are likely across the area with an initial batch in the morning and then more scattered activity through the day. We will then wait for the center of the remnants to pass very near our region on Saturday morning delivering us another round of heavy downpours and t'storms. The timing on that looks to be 4am to 10am or so on Saturday.

Key Points Next 2 Days:
Tropical feeling airmass with dewpoints over 70 degrees. A true steam bath
Rainfall will range from " in some locations to 3"+ in the hardest hit areas.
Potential for flash flooding in those hardest hit areas
Heaviest activity is Saturday morning.

The sun will return from west to east in the afternoon Saturday, the last place to clear will be the shore.

SUNDAY: It's a beautiful second half to the weekend, with mostly sunny skies, crashing humidity levels, and a high around 83.

MONDAY: Look for sun fighting clouds, low humidity, and a comfortable high around 81.

TUESDAY: We'll have partly sunny skies and a chance for a shower in the afternoon. It's cooler with a high of 79.

WEDNESDAY: Expect mostly sunny skies, still very low humidity, and a high of 81.
