PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) --An area of rain and heavy thunderstorms moved through this morning, bringing more than an inch of rain in some locations, triggered by low pressure passing to our south. To the north of that low, an easterly flow kept us locked in cloudy, damp conditions with temperatures stuck in the 50's.
TONIGHT: An evening shower is possible up until about 10 or 11 o'clock. After that, we transition to partly cloudy skies with a low of 46.
WEDNESDAY: We clear out nicely as high pressure nudges southward from the Great Lakes. Northerly winds will be around 10-15 mph with a high around 62.
THURSDAY: We expect plenty of sunshine through most of the day with a few more late clouds possible. It's cooler with a high of 55.
FRIDAY: Expect a soaking rain,as yet another system rolls through. More than 1" of rain is expected, making for a dreary and cool end to the work week. The high only hits 49.
SATURDAY: A period of rain or drizzle is possible in the morning. Otherwise, we have a mostly cloudy, breezy afternoon. The high sits near 59.
SUNDAY: Look for a partly sunny end to the weekend with a high of 61.
MONDAY: Clouds give way to a few sunny breaks. It's dry and relatively mild: 63.
TUESDAY: Clouds take over again and we have a chance for a few showers. The high: 64.
