AccuWeather: Turning brighter but staying below average

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Temperatures stay below average the next few days before milder air briefly returns for Mother's Day.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with the chance of a late night shower, mainly north of the city, low 50.

FRIDAY: Breezy and cool with sunshine and a few clouds bubbling up by the afternoon. A spotty shower mainly north/west of the city can't be ruled out in the evening, high 68.

SATURDAY: Cloudy with showers a few morning showers, then some late afternoon thunderstorms, high 68.

SUNDAY (MOTHER'S DAY): Partly sunny and warm. Showers evolve into a steady rain at night, high 78.

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy and cooler with showers around, high 62.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny and still cool, high 65.

WEDNESDAY: Cloudy with the chance of rain, high 66.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy, high 67.
