TODAY: Clouds increase through the day. A spotty shower is possible at times and perhaps a rumble of thunder late in the day and tonight in a few places. Most of the day is dry. The high is 72.

TONIGHT: Clouds are dominant overnight. A few more rumbles of thunder and showers are possible here and there. The low is a mild 64.

WEDNESDAY: Any lingering shower activity ends before the close of the morning commute. Clouds will break for sun and we warm up again to about 82.

THURSDAY: This is a delightful, mostly sunny day with a pleasant high around 82, as a dome of high pressure moves into our region. It may be a tad more humid, but not too bad.

FRIDAY: That high pressure center is still our dominant weather feature. Look for another mostly sunny afternoon with another warm, comfortable high zooming all the way up to 86.

SATURDAY: Sun gives way to increasing clouds during the afternoon, as high pressure breaks down and another front approaches the region. The humidity rises. Late in the day and at night, a shower or thunderstorm is possible. The high: 88.

SUNDAY: Clouds mix with sunny breaks. It's even more humid and unsettled. Some showers and a thunderstorm are likely at times. The high dips to 79.

MONDAY (MEMORIAL DAY): Look for mostly cloudy skies with another shower or thunderstorm possible. The high slips to 76.

TUESDAY: Clouds mix with sun. The high is a cooler 74.
