AccuWeather: Heat, humidity, and stormy at times Thursday

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Bookend storms Thursday. One round early morning, another late evening. Heat Advisory in between.

OVERNIGHT: We turn our attention to a warm front lifting through in the pre-dawn hours that could reignite some nasty storms as it moves through. These could even linger into the morning rush depending on the timing. Warm and humid with a low in the 70s.

THURSDAY: Round of pre-dawn/dawn storms. Hot and humid midday/afternoon. Another round of storms come late day. High of 92. Any of the storms have the potential of damaging winds and an isolated tornado. Like last night, it is one of those situations to be on alert for both rounds.

FRIDAY: More clouds than sun and muggy as a cold front slowly works through. Nowhere near as unstable as earlier in the week, but a few t'showers are possible. High of 87.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and less humid. A beautiful start to the weekend. High of 83.

SUNDAY: Humidity is nice and low with partly sunny skies, high 79

MONDAY (LABOR DAY): Sun and clouds, high 80.

TUESDAY: Partly Sunny and a comfortable high of 83.
